Statement from state Reps. Bizzarro, Merski and Harkins regarding Erie County voting

ERIE, Oct. 30 – State Reps. Ryan Bizzarro, Bob Merski and Pat Harkins issued the following statement regarding voting in Erie County: 

“We are committed to ensuring that all of our constituents in Erie County – Democrat, Republican, or Independent – have the information they need to vote and participate in our democracy. Our primary concern is holding free and fair elections, and always making sure that people’s voting rights are preserved and protected.

“You can vote any of the following ways:

"If you have requested a ballot but have not yet received it, we are encouraging voters to vote in-person at the Erie County Board of Elections at 140 W. Sixth St., Room 114, Erie, PA 16501.

“Per the County of Erie Board of Elections, extended hours are as follows:

Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 3, 2024, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

“If you are unable to vote in-person, please call the voter protection hotline at 1 (833) 728-6837 or go to iwillvote.com/pa for help tracking the status of your ballot and learn about other options to make sure your vote is cast and counted.

“If you are unable to vote early, you can also vote on election day at your local polling place.

“We are encouraging anyone with questions to reach out to the voter protection hotline at 1 (833) 728-6837 to talk through your voting options with one of our volunteers.”
