Property Tax Relief Workshop 

Join Philadelphia City Council President Kenyatta Johnson and Councilmember Jamie Gauthier for a property tax relief workshop on Thursday, September 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Salt and Light Church, 5736 Chester Ave., Philadelphia, PA. Philly Senior Tax Freeze

The City of Philadelphia will “freeze” your Real Estate Tax if you meet certain age and income requirements. To find the form and relevant information visit phila.gov/senior-freeze.

Homestead Exemption

Philadelphia neighbors, if you own your primary residence, you are eligible for the Homestead Exemption on your Real Estate Tax. The Homestead Exemption reduces the taxable portion of your property’s assessed value.  The deadline to apply is December 1. For more information on eligibility and applying visit phila.gov.

Apply for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate!

The Property Tax Rent Rebate program application deadline has been extended to December 31!

The rebate program benefits eligible Pennsylvanians 65 or older; widows and widowers 50 or older; and people with disabilities 18 or older. Some applicants may qualify for supplemental rebates as well.

Applications can be filed online at mypath.pa.gov.
