BROOKHAVEN, May 16 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger, D-Delaware, is inviting senior residents of her legislative district to a free Medicare seminar from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 23 at the Brookhaven Municipal Center, 2 Cambridge Road.
Krueger said a trained PA Medi counselor will be there to answer questions and discuss Medicare enrollment timing, supplemental plans, copays, deductibles and how to avoid penalties.
“Medicare coverage can be consuming, and understanding the basics of it is crucial to keeping coverage and health care needs on track,” Krueger said. “There are important dates, deadlines and options every Medicare beneficiary should know. I encourage all Medicare-eligible or soon-to-be-eligible residents to attend this important seminar.”
