BROOKHAVEN, Sept. 10 – State Rep. Leanne Krueger, D-Delaware, invites area seniors to her annual Senior Expo from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 at Brookhaven Municipal Center located at 2 Cambridge Road, Brookhaven.
Exhibitors from state, county, local and federal agencies, as well as other local vendors, will provide valuable information on services and programs available for seniors. The event will include door prizes and lunch. A flu shot clinic also will be available. Attendees 65 or older also will be able to sign up for their free SEPTA Key Senior ID cards.
“We love hosting and celebrating our senior neighbors at this annual event,” Krueger said. “We hope that everyone will walk away with new resources to improve their lives.”
Reservations are required for attendance. Interested seniors or their caregivers should contact Krueger’s office at 610-534-6880 or email RepKrueger@pahouse.net to register.
