Pashinski continues search for Korean War veterans

HARRISBURG, Oct. 16 – State Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski is pleased to announce that his office has received over 50 inquiries from individuals regarding the Korean Ambassador for Peace Medal, a new honor for Korean War veterans initiated by the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veteran Affairs.
Pashinski emphasizes the importance of recognizing the sacrifices made by those who served during this significant period in history.
“We are grateful to those who have reached out, and I continue to urge all Korean War veterans, as well as their family members and loved ones, to contact my office,” said Pashinski.
This distinguished award acknowledges the bravery and commitment of veterans and can also be awarded posthumously to honor those who are no longer with us. Pashinski said he is committed to ensuring that every eligible veteran receives this meaningful recognition.
