Rep. Nick Pisciottano (D-Allegheny) was elected to represent the 38th Legislative District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in November 2020.
He graduated at the top of his class from West Mifflin Area High School in 2008 and earned a bachelor of arts degree in accounting and a bachelor of arts degree in history at Washington and Jefferson College in 2012. He went on to earn his master’s degree in data analytics & policy at Johns Hopkins University in 2019.
As a certified public accountant and auditor with an extensive background in finance and economics, Rep. Pisciottano is motivated by his deep interest in using public policy to assist the communities he represents and improve the quality of life throughout the 38th District, which includes communities in Monongahela Valley and South Hills of Allegheny County.
A fourth-generation resident of the Monongahela Valley, Rep. Pisciottano was previously the president of the West Mifflin Community Foundation and is a past mentor with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh. He lives with his wife Molly, his son Nico, and his two rescue dogs, Rosie and Piper.
