Pisciottano announces $750,000 for Allegheny County Airport

State funds to revitalize airplane hangers

WEST MIFFLIN, May 31 – State Rep. Nick Pisciottano announced today Allegheny County Airport has received $750,000 in state funds to repair and upgrade its existing hangers.

“Our airports stimulate southwestern Pennsylvania’s economy in huge ways by creating jobs, enabling business and leisure travel, expanding shipping capabilities and more,” Pisciottano said. “Investments in aviation infrastructure ensure our region can easily connect to the rest of the world.”

Pisciottano said the funds to AGC are part of a $10 million investment from the state Transportation Department in airports across the state.
